Meeting between the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the «House of wisdom»   of the United Arab Emirates

On August 20, the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a meeting with Ms. Marwa Obaid Rashid Al Akrubi, executive director of the House of wisdom of the United Arab Emirates, and Mr. Ali Al Shemmari, head of the government relations and protocol department.

The guests were greeted by the director of the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlanova Sagila Yesseitovna, who shared the work of the archive institution and experience in the areas of preservation of funds, digitization of documents.

The purpose of the meeting is to establish bilateral cooperation, taking into account friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates, exchange of experience, preservation of historical and cultural heritage, joint exhibitions, Organization of research projects.

In addition, Ms. Marwa Obaid Rashid Al Akrubi noted that about 40 books on the history of Kazakhstan are stored in the House of Wisdom Foundation. These are rare publications that reflect the past and spiritual wealth of our country. The most joyful thing is that now there is an opportunity to openly get acquainted with these valuable works. This heritage will be transferred to the National Archive and will become an indispensable source for cultural and historical research.

This meeting is another bright step towards strengthening cultural ties and cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UAE.
