An expanded meeting of the Ministry’s Board was held in Astana.

In Astana, an expanded meeting of the Ministry’s Board was held under the chairmanship of Aida Balayeva, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Minister of Culture and Information. The meeting was attended by vice ministers, committee chairpersons, heads of subordinate organizations, representatives of sectoral structures, as well as Sagila Nurlanova, Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the results of the Ministry’s activities for 2025 were reviewed and strategic priorities for the upcoming period were identified. Aida Balayeva noted that the issues of supporting national culture and preserving historical and cultural heritage have been закрепed at the constitutional level, emphasizing the importance of systematic modernization of the sectors in line with modern requirements.
The meeting also set the task of widely introducing digital solutions, effectively utilizing artificial intelligence technologies, and developing a unified digital development strategy for the sector. In addition, participants discussed the development of the cultural sphere, systematic support for creative industries, improvement of information policy, strengthening of civil society institutions, as well as the effective implementation of state youth and family policy.
Following the meeting, instructions were given to enhance interagency cooperation and ensure the high-quality and timely implementation of the assigned tasks.
