📌 Working Meeting Held at the National Archive

On February 19, 2026, a working meeting dedicated to current issues in the field of archival affairs was held at the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Committee for Archival Affairs, Documentation and Book Publishing, the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC “NIT” (National Information Technologies), as well as the management of the National Archive and heads of relevant departments.
During the meeting, participants reviewed issues related to the storage of documents connected with the provision of the public service “Issuance and Revocation of Registration Certificates of the National Certification Authority of the Republic of Kazakhstan” delivered in 2007–2013, as well as the determination of their record-keeping format.
In addition, the following matters were discussed:
▪ retention periods for documents related to the issuance and revocation of registration certificates;
▪ practical application of current regulatory requirements;
▪ examination of electronic documents on the “Open Government” portal.
As a result of the meeting, specific proposals were developed to further improve the work, and relevant instructions were issued.
