Documents Use Department (DUD)
The Documents Use Department (DUD) is a structural subdivision of the Republican State Institution “National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan” under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and performs the following functions:
1. Provision of public services:
• requests regarding employment history
• requests regarding remuneration
• requests regarding awards/commendations
• other types of requests

2. Thematic requests
Requests submitted to the archive for the purpose of obtaining public services are processed free of charge within the time limits established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The regulatory period for the provision of public services is 11 working days from the date the application is registered. The processing period may be extended up to 25 days, with mandatory written notification to the applicant within 3 (three) days.
Public services are provided through the following methods:
1. to the postal address or email specified in the application;
2. at the institution’s department.
Archival certificates sent by email do not have legal force.
