The Publication and Publishing Department is a structural subdivision of the National
Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In its activities, the department is guided by the current legislation, the Charter of the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan, orders and instructions of the director.
The main task of the department is the organization of work on the publication and publishing activities of the National Archive, publication of documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the media, work on the preparation, publication and dissemination of the informational and scientific-practical journal “Kazakhstan Archives” and interaction with archival institutions of the republic and CIS countries, scientists and researchers to provide materials for publication in the journal “Kazakhstan Archivtes”, work on the preparation and publication of collections of archival documents, booklets, calendar of memorable and significant dates, materials of scientific and practical conferences,
held in the National Archive, newsletters, reference books on the funds of the National Archive.

Participates in the preparation and holding of conferences, exhibitions of archival documents, seminars, round tables, etc. Studies and puts into practice the best domestic and foreign experience in the field of publication of documents.

The Publishing Department carries out its activities according to the work plan approved by the Director of the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
