Open day within the framework of the republican project «Archive and the future generation»

On September 19, 2025, the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted an Open Day within the framework of the republican project «Archive and the Future Generation».
The opening ceremony was attended by Ibraim Babayev, Head of the Archives, Documentation and Book Management Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sagila Nurlanova, Director of the National Archive, Akim Isaak, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, poet, composer, Zhandos Boldykov, Director of the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and other public activists, media representatives, and students educational institutions, lyceum schools, and students of the L. N. Eurasian National University. Gumilyov University, Astana International University, was attended by residents and guests of the capital.
The main goal of the project is to revive valuable documents related to the history of the personality and the Kazakh people in the minds of generations, as well as to instill patriotism in young people through stimulating knowledge of the history and culture of our country.
The participants of the event were presented in detail the work of the National Archive, and documentaries about the archive’s work with various exhibitions were shown.
By today’s open day, the National Archive was visited by about 800 students and students who got acquainted with the work of the archive.
