Training Seminar on Digital Technologies Held at the National Archives

On April 16–17, 2026, the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a training seminar titled “Digital Technologies: Archival Acquisition, Accounting and Ensuring the Preservation of Archival Documents.”
The seminar was opened by S. Nurlanova, Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and S. Tashchanova, Head of the Department of the Committee for Archives, Documentation and Book Affairs, who emphasized the importance of digitalization for the development of the archival sector.
Within the framework of the program, participants discussed the digitalization of documents in government bodies, improving the efficiency of management processes through the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies, the capabilities of electronic archives, the formation of records management nomenclature, maintaining state records and the State Fund catalog, as well as regulatory legal acts in the field of information security.
At the end of the event, participants were given an ознакомatory tour of the archive, and certificates were awarded to the attendees following the results of the seminar.
