Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the King Abdulaziz Research and Archives Foundation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

On May 22, the Director of the King Abdulaziz Research and Archives Foundation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia TURKI BIN MOHAMMED ALSHUWAIER and the Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlanova Sagila Yesimseitovna signed a memorandum of cooperation at the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the event is to develop international cooperation in the field of archives, implement joint projects, and exchange experience. As well as promote the historical memory and scientific research of the two countries to future generations.
The event was attended by the Director of the King Abdulaziz Foundation TURKI MOHAMMED BIN ALSHUWAIER, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Kazakhstan, H.E. Mr. Faisal Hanef Alkahtani, and other delegation representatives.

Saudi Arabia is a country with a deep spiritual heritage and the birthplace of Islamic civilization. The King Abdulaziz Research and Archives Foundation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the most prestigious archival institutions in the Middle East. This cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia will pave the way for the qualitative development of archival work, the implementation of joint projects and scientific research.
