State accounting of documents of the National Archive Fund in departmental and private archives

On June 27, the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a training seminar on “State accounting of documents of the National Archive Fund in departmental and private archives”.

The seminar was attended by heads of departments of documentation support of organizations that are sources of collection of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, persons responsible for records and archives, and archivists.

The Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, S.E. Nurlanova, who made the opening speech, touched upon the ways of state accounting of fund documents. Also, Deputy Director of the National Archives T.Zh. Kusainova spoke on “Issues of preservation of documents of the National Archive Fund in departmental and private archives”, Head of the Department for replenishment of the National Archive Fund M.E. Nurtazina “Passportization of departmental and private archives”, E.N. Zhanabekov “Functions of modules in the “E-Archive” information system”, Project Manager of “IServ” LLP D.A. Baltabekova presented her reports on the topic “Algorithm of work in the information system Unified electronic archive for employees of departmental archives”.

Also, during the seminar, the intricacies of state accounting of documents of the National Archive Fund, the issues of organizing, storing, using documents in departmental archives, and their transfer to the National Archive were discussed in detail.
