Presentation of the collection of documents «Ақселеудің асыл мұрасы»

On August 27, 2021, the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host a presentation of the collection “Akseleudin asyl murasy”, compiled from archival documents from the personal fund of Seydimbek Akseleu Slanovich.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Committee for Archives and Document Management of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuat Borash, writer, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Askarov, poet, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nesipbek Aituly, President of the International Turkic Academy, Chairman of the Board of the Joint Stock Company “Republican Gazette “Egemen Kazakhstan” Darkhan Kydyrali, statesman, document expert Mirbolat Zhakypov, professor of L.N. Gumilyova Zadash Dukenbaeva, members of the Academic Council of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and employees of the archive.
Collection and publication of valuable documents of great importance for the nation in archival funds is one of the main directions of work of archival institutions. Today, along with documents of state importance, the funds store many documents about the life and work of famous personalities in the country. On the basis of the manuscripts passed on to the generation by the outstanding Kazakh writer Akseleu Seydimbek, a collection of documents and materials was compiled. The collection contains the originals of manuscripts, unique personal documents that the fund creator himself personally handed over to the archive (during his lifetime).
– The world of Akseleu is the entire Kazakh world. Such a personality is rarely born. The whole life of Seydimbek, all the will of his soul is permeated with the service of the nation. Akseleu Seydimbek made an invaluable contribution to the development of Kazakh literature and art, culture and spirituality, left a bright mark on our history, – said Sagila Nurlanova, director of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to her, of course, only the documents of A. Seydimbek stored in the archive contribute to the comprehensive disclosure of his personality, make it possible to recognize the writer from different angles.
During the event, friends and associates of N. Aituly and A. Askarov shared interesting memories from the life and work of the writer.
In addition, the winner of the Grand Prix of the X International Festival “Shabyt” Dosym Maksutov performed the notes found in the personal fund of Akseleu, and the young poet Gabiden Kuanyshbayuly read a poem, spiritually decorating such an event.

At the end of the event, the director of the National Archives S. Nurlanova, calling Akseleu Slanuly the spiritual father of the current generation, sang a song about her father very beautifully on the dombra.
Personal documents of Akseleu Seydimbek were accepted to the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan in September 2009.
This collection of documents consists of six sections. The documents in each section reveal the content of the writer’s most important works.
The first part of this collection contains “Personal documents”. It includes biographical documents, congratulatory addresses, award documents, characteristics, photographs, monographic works, works of art and books by A. Seydimbek. In the second part: “Letters”. A significant part of the documentary fund is made up of letters from the fund-maker. It contains about 700 letters written between 1961 and 2009. All these letters cannot be included in one collection. Therefore, letters were selected to A. Margulan, Sh. Murtaza, M. Magauin, T. Sagitov, I. Tasmagambetov and other well-known literary and public figures. Letters written with sincerity, touching upon the problems of the sphere, are distinguished by their mastery of words and special content. Part three “Ethnographic notes” (or “From the notebook of an ethnographer”). A. Seidimbek is one of the writers who contributed to the revival of ethnographic research in Kazakhstan. The manuscripts are included in the collection in the same order as the writer himself systematized “Customs and Traditions” “Cognition”, “Signs”, “Useful food is a guarantee of health”, “Kazakh national games”, “Types of livestock”. Part four: ” Reflections on Contemporaries “. This section contains the writer’s reflections on the representatives of the intelligentsia known to the Kazakh people, such as K. Satpayev, A. Margulan, Ch. Valikhanov, as well as the memories of his friends, letters to the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan D. A. Kunaev about the lack of housing and work space master-craftsman Darkembai Shokparovich, written by him together with well-known personalities headed by G. Musrepov. In the fifth part of the “Articles”: the main part of the documentary heritage of Professor Akseleu Slanovich consists of manuscripts of articles, books, stories, essays, stories and typewritten versions corrected with his own hand … Selected articles on various topics published on the pages of newspapers and magazines in 1959-1969. In the sixth section “Memories” were presented the memoirs of contemporaries and fellow comrades-in-arms about Axeleu Seidimbek. The final section of the collection “Photos” consists of various photographs of the writer. Seydimbek, it is impossible to cover all his research in one collection. We would like to note that it reflects the most significant documents and manuscripts of the writer. And we hope that in the future more than one generation will show interest in the priceless spiritual heritage of A. Seydimbek stored in the personal funds of the National Archives. The collection, compiled on the basis of archival documents from the personal collection of Akseleu Seydimbek, kept in the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is dedicated to his upcoming 80th anniversa.
