Official meeting of representatives of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Library of France
On August 21, Director of the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlanova Sagila Yesseitovna held an official meeting with director of European and international relations of the National Library of France (BnF) Mr. Jean Francois Rozo and head of the international expert project Ms. Francesca Baldi. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the committee of Archives, documentation and book Affairs Duisekova Altynai Maratovna, head of the Department of Use and public services of the National Archive Fund Dauletbaeva Khorlan Daurenovna, Chief expert of the Department of State Policy and regulatory legal regulation Nesipbayev Aset Sarsenovich and the management staff of the National Archive. During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of archival Affairs, preservation of historical values, digitization of documents and increasing accessibility. The main goal is to deepen cultural, historical and scientific cooperation between Kazakhstan and France and to establish an exchange of experience in the field of archival Affairs. It is planned to establish cooperation between the archives and libraries of the two countries in the field of storage, digitalization and increasing access to documents. As a result of the meeting, the two sides reached mutual understanding in the direction of improving archival document management, Developing Digital Archives and preserving the common cultural heritage. This meeting is an important step in preserving the national heritage and passing it on to future generations in the context of globalization. International cooperation in the field of archives allows us to bring the preservation of historical heritage to a new level through the effective use of modern technologies.
