International scientific and practical conference in Bukhara within the framework of the Days of Archives of Kazakhstan

From August 19 to 22, 2025, an international scientific and practical conference «The place and importance of archives in the information society» is being held in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, as part of the international event “Days of Archives of Kazakhstan”.

Deputy Director of the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan S. N. Mushkenova and Head of the Department of Archival Technologies and Digitalization A. A. Bulashev attends the conference.

During the conference, Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan S. N. Mushkenova presented the documentary exhibition “Documents from the archives of Kazakhstan”, containing valuable documents reflecting our national history. Head of the Department of Archival Technologies and Digitalization Bulashev A. A. made a presentation on the topic: “Archives as keepers of cultural heritage: significance and problems in the digital age,” and also spoke about their role in the modern digital age and their future.

The presentation of the photo album “cultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in archival photographic documents” took place within the framework of the conference.

This important conference is an important step towards strengthening cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, defining the place of archives in modern society and their future.
