A ceremonial event dedicated to Archivist's Day took place

On December 22, 2025, a ceremonial event was organized at the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan in honor of Archivist’s Day. The archive is a golden bridge that connects the past with the present and the present with the future. An archivist is the one who ensures the strength of this bridge, serving as the guardian of the nation’s memory.
Thanks to the unseen but highly responsible and important work, historical documents are preserved, introduced into scientific circulation, and serve the benefit of society.

 During the event, Gulzira Karsakbaeva, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Archives, Documentation, and Library Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Sagila Nurlanova, Director of the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan, congratulated the employees of the archival sector on their professional holiday and expressed warm wishes. Aigul Shagieva, Head of the Document Usage Department of the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Aiya Baishorina, Senior Manager of the Document Support Department of the Social Medical Insurance Fund JSC, Archivist, were awarded the «The best employee of the archival Sector» badge, while other employees received Honorary Certificates and Letters of Appreciation. This award is a well-deserved recognition of dedication to archival work, high professionalism, and tireless labor.
