Meeting of the Scientific Council Dedicated to Science Day Held at the National Archive

On April 10, 2026, the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a regular meeting of the Scientific Council dedicated to Science Day on the topic “Scientific Council and Archives: The Impact on Research and Publication of Documentary Heritage.”
During the meeting, reports were presented on the study of documentary heritage, its introduction into scholarly circulation, and publication activities. Members of the council were informed about ongoing work related to the research of archival materials and fonds, the implementation of scientific projects, and the expansion of the source base.
In the context of the upcoming 20th anniversary of the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organizational issues related to the international scientific and practical conference “National Archive – 20 Years: The Golden Fund of the Nation’s Memory” were discussed. Particular attention was given to proposals concerning the content, main directions, and organizational aspects of the forthcoming event.
The meeting of the Scientific Council served as an important platform aimed at further developing research activities in the archival field, introducing historical documents into scholarly circulation, and widely promoting the national documentary heritage.
