Presentation and documentary exhibition of the unique web portal «Honour to the Heroes»

On May 5, the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a presentation and documentary exhibition of the unique web portal “Honour to the Heroes” about Kazakhstani veterans who participated in the Great Patriotic War.

As part of the event, documents and letters written at the front by veterans from the “Honour to the Heroes” website launched by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as by veterans of the Great Patriotic War Kari Abitov, Tanirbergen Kalilakhanov, Khamit Ergaliev, Malik Gabdullin, Ermekkali Serikbayev from the funds of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, were presented.

The event was attended by the sons and daughters of WWII veterans Anuarbek Suyindikov and Tanirbergen Kalilakhanov, well-known public and state figures, representatives of the intelligentsia, students and pupils.
