The National Archival Fund is Replenished with Documents of Nazir Torekulov

Today, the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a meeting with Zhappar Zhuman, President of the Nazir Torekulov International Charitable Foundation, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, and Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Sciences.
During the meeting, valuable documents pertaining to the life and work of the prominent state and public figure, Nazir Torekulov, were officially transferred to the collections of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The transfer of these materials is a direct outcome of the Memorandum of Cooperation previously signed between the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Nazir Torekulov International Charitable Foundation. This initiative represents a significant step toward establishing a dedicated personal archival collection for Nazir Torekulov and introducing his historical legacy into academic discourse.
Within the framework of the event, Foundation President Zhappar Zhuman awarded Saghila Nurlanova, Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the Foundation’s “For Outstanding Labor” (Eren eńbegi úshin) badge in recognition of her contributions to the research and promotion of Nazir Torekulov’s historical legacy.
Furthermore, a commemorative carpet featuring a portrait of Nazir Torekulov was presented as a gift to the National Archives.
The National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan remains committed to furthering cooperation aimed at the preservation, expansion, and academic integration of the national historical heritage.
